FAQ

What is the downtime for Botox/Dysport?

Botox/Dysport is often referred to as a “lunch hour procedure” meaning there is little to no downtime. Bruising is possible with any facial injections, however bruising with Botox/Dysport is rare. Results begin to appear within 2-5 days and will be fully kicked in by 12 days post treatment.

What is the downtime for Filler?

Volume containing hyaluronic acid is injected into the lips to add height and hydration to the lips and correct asymmetry. Using filler, the shape of the lips can be optimized to flatter the patient’s features. We always perform a thorough consultation included with your appointment so we can meet your custom goals. Lip flip can be added on for $40. Available as half or full syringe. Lip filler lasts on average 1-2 years.

How can I best prepare for my appointment?

For Botox/Dysport or Filler appointments it is best to avoid alcohol or blood thinners for at least 48 hours prior to treatment to decrease bruising risk. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, flax/fish oil, oral vitamin E, and prescription blood thinners. Drinking a lot of water. Arnica montana can be used pre- and post-treatment to minimize swelling and bruising. This comes in topical gel or oral pellets and can be bought at health food stores or amazon.

What is your cancellation policy?

We maintain a strict cancellation policy to protect our time as well as yours. Appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours notice will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. There are no exceptions to this policy.
