In addition, Lumecca is an additional service using intense pulse light therapy to target and treat the appearance of age spots, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and more, resulting in rejuvenated skin tone and a restored skin complex. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subside within an hour. Over the next one to two days, you may notice a darkening of pigmented spots. In the weeks following, the pigmented lesions will clear, leading to an evening out of the skin tone.

Botox and Dysport are neurotoxins that are injected into the skin as an anti-wrinkle treatment. They effectively relax the muscles to smooth fine to moderate lines and wrinkles. Botox/Dysport can be used preventatively to prevent lines and wrinkles and preserve skin elasticity. Botox and Dysport injections last an average of 3-5 months.

How can I best prepare for my Botox/Dysport neurotoxin appointment?

For Botox/Dysport appointments, avoiding alcohol or blood thinners for at least 48 hours before treatment is best to decrease the bruising risk. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, flax/fish oil, oral vitamin E, and prescription blood thinners. Drinking a lot of water. Arnica Montana can be used pre-and post-treatment to minimize swelling and bruising. This comes in a topical gel or oral pellets and can be bought at health food stores or Amazon.

What is your cancellation policy?

We maintain a strict cancellation policy to protect our time as well as yours. Appointments canceled with less than 72 hours' notice will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. There are no exceptions to this policy.
